Frederic Francois Chopin was a Polish composer. He started to play the music at a very early age. By age six he was already trying to reproduce what he heard or to make up new tunes. Over 230 works of Chopin survive; some compositions from early childhood have been lost. All his known works involve the piano, and only a few range beyond solo piano music, as either piano concertos, songs or chamber music.
