Armoy, United Kindom Armoy is a village and civil parish in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. The Armoy area also includes half of Knocklayd mountain which lies to the northeast of the village. Close to this village is situated the Dark Hedges in Northern Ireland. This beautiful alley of beech trees became famous by the TV series Games of Thrones. Best time to visit this place is early morning or late evening. The alley was a secret hint for photographers. Since Games of Thrones however it became famous. Tourist buses stop by and a lot of tourists visit this spot during the day.
